Chase Gilbert is the owner of Cgilly-Goods and Cgilly. He has been hand carving with his pocket knife ever since he was a boy [in Odessa, Tx]. When he was in college at the Savannah College of Art and Design [in Savannah, Ga.] he learned about Woodcut Printmaking and thats when his love for the technique started. In 2011, Chase began entering his printmaking art in contest and selling at Art Fairs. Chase's Woodcut Printmaking has been awarded and written about in many papers including the Houston Chronicle. In 2014, Chase decided he would take a chance and order a CNC a machine to produce precision based woodcarvings for gifts. Although hand carving is his favorite, he wanted to supply the market with a new style of wood carved gifts.
